EAGLES GO WILD FOR V-TABS
August 4, 2013
The Eagles go wild for our V-Tabs High Flier – José Guzman.
Reno, Nevada was the venue for the recent 115th anniversary convention of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles where V-Tabs representatives Chris Van Hoorhis and José Guzman attended as guests.
V-Tabs supply Eagles Lodges with the Eagle 1, the state of the art electronic pull tab machine, which enables Eagles to boost membership and increase funding. The Eagles made their gratitude clear by the incredibly warm welcome that our representatives received!
José Guzman, former pitcher with the Texas Rangers and Chicago Cubs, proved a real winner with Eagles members thrilled to meet him and let him know how much they admire him. José and Chris were not only invited to the Grand Eagle Aerie in Grove City, Ohio but also to the Virginia State Presidents residence! As part of the Eagles commitment to charity they also donated $30,000 to a cancer charity on José’s behalf.
Neal McCoy who performed at the Convention stopped his performance part way through to come down and shake José’s hand and tell him he was a huge fan!
Of course it wasn’t only Jose’s reputation that impressed the Eagles! All the members wanted to let V-Tabs know how much they appreciate the work and dedication of the whole team in Virginia to enable Eagles Lodges there to prosper. Eagles cannot wait until more states are given the ability to benefit from the Eagle 1 machine and V-Tabs professionalism. V-Tabs would like to say a special thank-you to former grand aerie President Wayne D Clark for all his support within the Eagles organisation.
José’s popularity can also benefit other lodges as he is available to be booked to visit on promo days along with V-Tabs other great sporting star Larry Robinson.
